What we collect
The Journal of Sierra Leone Studies runs on a minimalist privacy footprint. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site trackers. Server access logs (IP, timestamp, user-agent, path) are kept for 30 days for security monitoring and are not shared with third parties.
Cookies
We set session cookies only for authenticated editorial users. Public readers set no cookies by default.
Emails sent to the editorial address are retained for the duration of any correspondence plus one year, then deleted.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by emailing the editorial address.
